Crowded teeth do not only cause a bad aesthetic appearance, but also negatively affect the person’s eating and chewing. This situation may cause joint problems in the following years. At the same time, crowding increases caries and gingival problems due to insufficient cleaning and may cause tooth loss in the early period. For this reason, orthodontic treatments are necessary not only for aesthetic concerns, but also for maintaining oral hygiene and preventing future oral and dental disorders.\n\nFor this reason, it is beneficial for children to be examined by an orthodontist from the mixed dentition period (67 years old). Early diagnosis can shorten the treatment process even more. During this period, it can be determined whether the teeth carry the risk of crowding. In addition, some factors that may cause confusion in the future can be ruled out.\n

\nOrthodontic treatments are a time-consuming treatment. Patient compliance and doctor-patient relationship are important in treatment.\n

\nOrthodontic treatment is applied not only to children and young people, but also to adults in recent years.\n

\nIn order not to affect the daily social life of adult patients, lingual orthodontics (wire treatment applied to the inner part of the teeth) or invisalign (transparent plaques) treatment systems have been developed.\n
